The National Equipment Database is a joint initiative between the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the National Research Foundation (NRF) and plays a critical role in informing decisions on the acquisition and placement of new research equipment. This database aims to house all relevant information pertaining to state-of-the-art equipment acquired through DST and/or NRF funding as well as other public sector investment in specialised research equipment. This user-friendly and searchable database is a live tool and will be updated on a continuous basis.
