Roche xCelligence Real Time Cell Analyser (RTCA) Single Plate (SP)
The xCeLLigence Real Time Cell Analyser (RTCA) SP is a high throughput (96 samples per run), high sensitivity automated 96 microelectrode array instrument for measurement of electrical impedance in 96 well formats for the study of the mammalian cells in real time. It allows for real-time label-free analysis of whole cells to study cell number, viability, motility and cell morphology. The xCELLigence RTCA SP platform is a unique system in that as opposed to traditional end point based assays, it provides information at any point withinin an experiment time-frame. Composed of a RTCA SP Station unit (with 96 well gold coated E-plate) which is placed directly into the incubator and communicates with an external RTCA Analyser unit the instrument provides unique data about cell viability, quality, small molecule and cell mediated cytotoxicity and cell adhesion and motility.
