Illumina MiSeq System

Model:
MiSeq System
Manufacturer:
Illumina MiSeq System

The Illumina MiSeq personal sequencing system is a powerful state-of-the-art “Next Generation’ (NGS) sequencer. It uses Truseq sequencing by synthesis chemistry, capable of sequencing up to 15GB high quality filtered bases per run, with up to 575 base pair read lengths. This allows assembly of small genomes or detection of target variants with unmatched accuracy, especially within homo-polymer regions. The MiSeq system workflow is easy to use, automated, and fast. Actual instrument dimensions are WxDxH: 68.6 cm x 56.5 cm x 52.3 cm, weight=54.5kg, and has an internal instrument control computer.

A compact, all in one platform incorporates cluster generation, paired-end fluidics, sequencing by synthesis chemistry, and complete data analysis. An intuitive touch screen interface makes for simple instrument operation.
