Leica Cryo-ultramicrotome EM FC 7

Model:
EM FC 7
Accessories:
crtical point dryer EM CPD300

The cryo-ultramicrotome is used for the preparation of ultra-thin sections (40-80nm) of resin embedded or cryo-prepared biological material for transmission electron microscopy (TEM).  The preparation of polymer sections for TEM can only be successfully achieved by the application of cryo-ultramicrotomy.

The fully automated critical point dryer (CPD) is used for the dehydration of biological specimens for scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and TEM.
