ApoTome Axio Z1 imager microscope

The ApoTome Axioimager Z1 is a 3-D imaging system used for contrast enhancement in fluorescence microscopy based on innovative grid projection techniques using an HBO light source. This technique permits optical sections to be analysed quickly and with very good quality. It also improves clarity and performance. The ApoTome allows discriminated images of fluorescent specimens to be produced. When compared to conventional epiflourescence methods, these optical sections feature increased contrast and enhanced optical resolution in axial direction.
