Canberra Eurisys Highly Segmented HPGe Clover Detector + Compton Suppression Shield (CSS)

The Highly Segmented HPGe Clover Detector + Compton Suppression Shield (CSS) is a high resolution, high efficiency, 32-way segmented hyperpuregermanium gamma - ray detector that works in conjunction with high efficiency back-ground rejection afforded by high density bismuth germanate (BGO) scintillators coupled to photo-multipliers. Associated with the instrument are data acquisition electronics.
