Varian 710-ES Spectrometer Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICP)

The Varian 710-ES Spectrometer is a multi-element analytical instrument that uses an inductively coupled plasma source to dissociate a sample into its constituent atoms or ion exciting them to a level where they emit light of a characteristic wave length. A detector measures the intensity of the emitted light, and calculates the concentration of that particular element in the sample. It has high levels of sensitivity and possesses the ability to analyze a wider range of elements.
