Voxeljet VX 1000 3D Inkjet Sand Printer

The Voxeljet VX 1000 is an Additive Manufacturing (AM) process that manufactures moulds, cores or patterns, directly from CAD, using a layered manufacturing process. The process starts from the bottom and growing upwards. The VX 1000 3D printing for sand application offers the largest volume and platform currently available in SA, and will be able to build moulds for matals casting measuring up to 1060 x 600 x 500mm.  The VX 1000 creates parts by jetting a liquid binder on a bed of finely ground powder, using an inkjet AM processes. The essential difference between the VX 1000 and other process available in SA, is that it uses inkjet printing as binding method, whereas the other system (EOS S700) uses a dual laser system.Other local available inkjet 3D Printing systems can either not print the size, nor the material.
