Maccor 4300 Electrochemical Test System

The Maccor Battery Test System Model 4300 for electrochemical cycling (testing) of battery cells has 8 channels each with 4 different current ranges up to 5A and a voltage range of 6V. Included with the system is a temperature chamber for testing between -20 and +100oC. The MBraun Inert Gas Workstation MBUnilab with gas purification system for assembly/disassembly of experimental Li-ion batteries under protective gas atmosphere is oxygen and humidity controlled (< 1 ppm oxygen, < 1 ppm humidity). The system is equipped with an oxygen sensor and a humidity sensor. Together the two systems allow for the fabrication of Li-ion cells and to run electrochemical tests on them. The battery materials can then be recovered for further characterization.
