The Beckman LS 6000 Liquid Scintillation Counter is a high-performing system that offers flexibility of use. This model can freely function without an external computer. LS 6000 units are equipped with a 32,768 channel multichannel analyzer, delivering a resolution eight times more effective than the standard. Conventional liquid scintillation counters only produce 0.5 keV per channel as opposed to the 0.06 keV per channel from this model. This feature sets the basis for Defects Per Million (DPM) results without quench curves, a precise quench monitor, superior results for multi-label studies and automatic color detection and correction.
