Widefield High-content Analysis System ImageXpress Micro XLS

Model:
ImageXpress Micro XLS

ImageXpress® Micro XLS System is a widefield automated microscope capable of fluorescent, transmitted light, and phase-contrast imaging and high content analysis of fixed- or live-cell assays, tissues and small organisms.  It is equipped with a 4.66 megapixel scientific CMOS camera.  Objectives range from 10x – 60x with optional phase contrast.  The solid state white-light engine is suitable for most fluorescent applications with excitation wavelengths ranging between 380 – 680 nm.  A colourimetric filter cube and eight fluorescence filter cubes allow detection of chromogenic- and most fluorescent dyes.  Environmental control allows regulation of temperature, humidity and CO2 for high-content kinetic and time lapse experiments over extended periods of time.  Equipped with a sample preparation station for preparation of 384-well plates.  MetaXpress Imaging and Analysis software.

List of fluorescence filter cubes (Ex : Em in nm):

377/50 : 447/60

472/30 : 520/35

482/35 : 536/40

500/24 : 542/27

543/22 : 593/40

531/40 : 593/40

562/40 : 624/40

628/40 : 692/40

Colourimetric: Red, Green, Blue

Cells, tissue samples, beads and small organisms in any microplate format up to 384 well, or on microscope slides can be analysed.  The instrument is ideal for multiplexing and phase contrast images can be overlaid with fluorescent images.
