University of Lowel Centre for Atmospheric Research DPS4D Ionosonde Ionosonde

An ionosonde is a type of high frequency radar which is used to measure the bottomside (90 to 350 km) ionosphere. On the 3 July 2008 the first ionogram from the Hermanus ionosonde was recorded.
