Optosolar Large Area Solar Simulator Large Area Solar Simulator

The solar simulator comprises a pulsed xenon lamp that simulates the solar spectrum and is representative of the ASTM spectrum (AM1.5, class A) that is also applicable to solar cell and photovoltaic module characterisation according to international standards. List of major components are as follows:

  • Lightsource: Xenon flash lamp,
  • Electronic hardware and load for current-voltage (IV) measurement,
  • Temperature measurements sensors,
  • Computer and associated hardware, and
  • Measurement and analysis software.

Optosolar Agilent 5975C GC/MS System Gas Chromatograph (GC)

The Agilent 5975C GC/MS System is a state of the art system that is both reliable and accurate. It is versatile in the sense that many experiments can be done from different disciplines. This system is designed for the precise determination of spectral response with or without bias light. It is also capable of determining the spectral response of concentrator solar systems since it comes integrated with bias light at 1000 suns.
