Mintek Bay 2 – DC Arc Furnace

The Bay 2 - DC arc furnace is the largest furnace that Mintek has, and it is a 3 MW DC arc furnace, it has shell diameter of 4.25 m and operates using a 5.6 MVA power supply.

Mintek Bay 1 – DC Arc Furnace

The Bay 1 - DC Arc Furnace is the smallest pilot-plant furnace and is a 100 kVA tilting DC arc furnace that is useful for short-duration test of the chemistry of new process.
