The Luminex system binds different chemical ligands to different colour microspheres, thereby enabling the researcher to multiplex (simultaneously measure) up to 100 analytes in a singlemicroplate well, using very small sample volumes. The system delivers fast quantitative and cost-effective bio-assy results to may assay formats. This instrument is the combination of three core technologies:
